2017 - 2018
The Godine Family Gallery is a curatorial residency and experimental exhibition space within the Studio for Interrelated (SIM) department at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, the only arts institution to be publicly funded nationwide. Founded in 2005, the gallery has been shaped by the transformative, collaborative, and interdisciplinary lens garnered by SIM.
For a term of one year, a select team is elected to direct the space and engage in curatorial practices. Alongside learning the principles and practices of curating, each team is given the liberty to reinvent the narrative, challenge the boundaries of a gallery, and evolve the creative footprint of the space.
From June 2017 - June 2018, Godine was Directed by Andrew Grimanis, Felix Kauffman and Marissa Cote.
